Virtual iPaw Course

$300Purchase required to enroll
CLASS BEING HELD VIRTUALLY

This class, which was first developed by our co-founder Annie Grossman in 2013, challenges you to engage your dog with something you have on you all the time: Your touch screen device. Learn how you can use an iPad or iPhone to teach your dog new concepts and improve your ability to shape and cue subtle behaviors.
This is a fun class designed to help dogs learn how to differentiate between shapes, colors and numbers using touch screen devices. Guardians will also practice introducing hidden cues, transferring cues, and chaining behaviors.
  • Teach your dog to touch a touch screen device, and identify nose or paw preference

  • Learn how to shape a dog to touch a specific part of the screen on cue

  • Develop your dog’s stimulus control so that they offer behaviors when you want them to and now when you don’t

  • Build your dog’s ability to differentiate between subtly different behaviors and cues

  • Learn fun “tricks” such as teaching a dog to answer yes/no questions, count up to 3, or to “read” from a screen

  • Experiment with the Pet Tutor and Treat n’ Train remote treating devices

  • For this class, dog should not have significant behavior issues, or have trouble working in an environment with other dogs or people
